Roberto is an amateur disc golf player, author, and the creator behind the HYZERLINE trilogy.
Like many players, his journey did not begin with perfect form, effortless distance, or tournament confidence. It began with inconsistent throws, confusing disc choices, missed putts, and the constant feeling that there was always something new to learn.
Over time, Roberto realized that many amateur players were facing the same problems. They were collecting random advice from videos, social media posts, and casual conversations, but often lacked a clear system that connected technique, disc selection, course management, and the mental side of the game.
That idea became the foundation of HYZERLINE.
The trilogy was written in collaboration with 39DiscGolf, Italy’s largest disc golf community, with the support and contribution of experienced players, community members, and other collaborators who helped bring different perspectives into the project.
Every volume was shaped around the situations disc golfers actually experience: choosing the right disc without overcomplicating the bag, understanding why a throw behaves the way it does, improving decision-making on the course, recovering after a bad hole, and becoming a more confident and consistent player.
Roberto does not present himself as a touring professional or as someone who has mastered every part of the sport. He writes from the perspective of a committed amateur who understands how frustrating the learning process can be—and how much easier it becomes when the information is practical, structured, and explained clearly.
HYZERLINE is the result of that approach: a complete learning system created by people who play the sport, understand its challenges, and genuinely want to help more players enjoy the game and improve one round at a time.
